Current transit plan :
Conditions in Grand Rapids, Mi are not so lovely. Dumped on about 2 feet of snow and freeways are closed down. Our previous plan to drive to Chicago got changed to taking a train from Kzoo… however, we just found out that is closed for weather issues and they will put us on a bus if we want… but that just seems like asking to be stuck on a freeway. So now we are going to drive to Michigan City, IN and take the south shore line from there. Fingers crossed my friends, it already seems like a real old fashioned Ponkey vacation.

Tomorrow at 9 AM we will leave for train station and just keep our fingers crossed and hopes high. May our hats fly higher than our dreams…
